#contenthacks: Showcasing Your Brand Using Instagram Stories

We know you’ve been busy building your brand on social media. You’re carefully crafting posts and strategically scheduling them. You keep a close and meticulous watch on your analytics and you think you’re doing everything right. However, we want to help you step up your game and make sure that you’re taking advantage of everything each platform has to offer. Last year, Instagram added stories to their interface, a feature you might not be using to its full potential. We have a couple of ideas to help you refresh your Instagram and really engage your audience.

Have a great office space—and great employees? Show them off.

You want to be more than just a message on a screen to your customers and this is a simple yet effective way to engage your audience and show that you are a real, tangible company comprised of real human beings. Have fun with it and explain what each person does or perhaps offer a fun fact about them. It can be as silly as what someone is eating for lunch that day. By showcasing your company culture, you’re communicating transparencyand that ultimately leads to brand loyalty.

Looking to host a big party or event? Use your story to promote, cover and recap.

Make a graphic for your company’s upcoming fundraiser and post in on your story. Conduct a video interview with your event coordinator and let them speak directly to your audience. This will not only generate excitement and anticipation but it could also attract influencers to your event. On the day of the event, make sure you post plenty of pictures and videos to your story. This is a great way to show off details and fun moments without clogging up your followers’ feed.

Explain your new products

One of the great things about Instagram stories is that users can click through them like a storybook. Create a series of images or graphics laid out in a timeline, and give your viewers a play-by-play on why these new items are so exciting. You want your viewer to be interested in a product even before they have it in their hands, and showing its worth through social video is a great way to do that.
